A seemingly simple question but possibly a slightly tricky answer where I'd appreciate the group smarts here, please.
I'm planning a SYD-HEL-TPE-SYD loop. To maximise the SC haul, I'm thinking of doing the return trip as HEL-xLHR-xSIN-TPE / TPE-xSIN-SYD (but am open also to TPE-xHKG-SYD, or similar alternatives with QF service back to SYD).
The multi-city engine spits its dummy with this one. I can get SYD-HEL / HEL-SIN / SIN-SYD priced, and could buy separate CX/CI or other revenue fares for the SIN-TPE-SIN segments.
But there seems also to be good QF award availability for the SIN-TPE-SIN route. Is there a way I can entice the QF call centre / reservations to do a revenue ticket for SYD-HEL-SIN-SYD and add awards for the SIN-TPE segments on the same ticket? Having them on the same ticket would add a bit of cover in case of delays or missed connections.
