Yep, I'm a LTL too ;)

Became a FF thru business travel, now try to get on an aircraft as often as possible.

Haven't posted because so much good and relevant stuff already here about the usual things that get us excited or annoyed (luv those FF CCs and damn those seat recliners etc).

Am interested in the AFF Events but wonder if it's mostly peeps getting together who already know each other :?:

Events are generally a mix of new and old..
If you have a passion for aircraft and CCs you'll fit right in!

I've been to one dinner which was pleasant. I certainly felt welcome, though almost everyone else seemed to know each other.

Welcome to AFF. It took me a couple of years before I attended my first AFF event; instantly regretted not doing it sooner.
 
Another welcome from me denwick- going to events or dinner/drinks meet ups added another dimension to AFF for me - I suggest you go to a few and see if you like it

Welcome aboard I have been to many catch ups over the years and always very social and I have made many life long friends from this forum
 
denwick the Perth part of AFF is alive and well. I think I did my first AFF social at Royal India restaurant with straitman and Flashware about a decade ago. These days JohnM is a good person to organize a get together when he is in Perth.
I did a name change so it looks like I have been in AFF for about 6 years.
