Just a question regarding companion platinum. Obviously it's a benefit that kicks in at 1,800 status credits. Can anyone clarify it's when your "status credit balance" hits 1,800 or if it's when your "status credits earned since your review date" hits 1,800?

I've earned 1,650 since my review date but my current balance is 1,822.

yes, it needs to be 1800 since your review date, not your rolling balance.

SCs earned in the year to requalify.

And note, if you earn 1800+ in March but your membership date is May, 12 months to gift companionship is from the March earn date.

You will get a letter advising you can gift and expiry date but you won't get a reminder.

i gifted SG last membership year. This year im on track to gift WP, but have yet to receive the email regarding the gifting of SG

Hubby earned 1800+ SCs in March last year, Im going to gift it next week (I manage his account) as it expires March 23rd.

Got a letter shortly after he earned the WP companion last year.

Yeah i received an email last membership year, stating i could gift SG. This current membership year, ive surpassed the 1300sc a few months back, and havent heard a thing.

I hit 1300SC to gift SG earlier this year and didn’t receive a letter or email either? Seems a bit hit and miss from Velocity.
