FINALLY! T-72 for Platinum, T-24 for Gold and Silver .. neatly saves having to pay for seats. :)

This is great - although on popular routes and times, it's not unknown for all those seats to be gone by those time windows. I wonder if we can still buy them at 50% off before then...

Nice except it's still only a request with no guarantee. I'd hate to find myself stuck in a coughpy seat.

Looks like that is a No. A pity I'd still like to the option to pay and have it confirmed, with the discount of course.

* From 28 February 2015 Delta Air Lines Economy Comfort+™ will be replaced with Delta Comfort+ ™. The percentage discount offered to Velocity Silver (25%), Gold (25%) and Platinum members (50%) for travel in Delta Air Lines Economy Comfort™ will no longer be available.

Luckily (or unluckily) I have just paid for two comfort+ upgrades, LAS - ATL overnight and JFK - LAX for hubby and I in early April. I will be trialling these supposed "complimentary" upgrades on quite a few legs over the trip, LAX - LAS, ATL - SDF (if they have it), SDF - DTW and DTW to EWR so I'll post up if they work.

Although to be fair I haven't had any luck at all with Delta so far, they're currently refusing to allow Gold VFF the Gold Medallion baggage allowance. So I'm not holding out much hope.
