Hi All

Had a friend transfer a lounge pass to me. Gave them my QFF number. Not sure how long it takes to transfer but I when i try to manage the pass it says something went wrong. Wondering if anyone has had a similiar issue or does it just need more time?

Thanks

All good and now showing up. I suspect the Qantas website was getting a remote boot from a long way away

Just on this note, I had a similar query when I was gifted two electronic lounge passes by my father. My partner and I wanted to use them on the QF9 PER-LHR even though we were in economy. I couldn't seem to get a definitive answer. Turns out, when I logged in to use them (and they had registered - which took a few business days) I was able to select the 'Perth International Transit Lounge'.

Worked out well, there's a small acronym printed on your boarding pass (much like when flying JQ and having the food/drink options). I can't remember exactly but I think it was something like PLAG.

Lounge was great and was packed by the time we left. I was surprised at the number of Melbourne transit pax who joined us.

This is what I am hoping for , for my daughter.

It won't be a problem. This was the information I used and it worked (there'll be a pop down option for the Perth International Transit Lounge):

"To redeem a Complimentary Invitation to an eligible flight: to use an available Complimentary Invitation, it has to be linked to an eligible flight at any time before the earlier of a) check-in closes or b) departure gate closing for that flight, and before the Expiry Date of the invitation.

Simply login to the Complimentary Invitations Portal at qantas.com/freeloungeinvite and click “ADD INVITATION” next to the flight you wish to link the Complimentary Invitation. You will need to select the available Complimentary Invitation you wish to use – take note that the type of Complimentary Invitation determines which lounge you can access. Note if you link your complimentary Invitation to an eligible flight within 23 hours of departure, there may be over 20 minutes delay for the linking to complete after the link process is completed in the portal."
