Just wondering if 2.5 hours is sufficient connection time: Looking at flying in from MXP- arrives in AUH 19:30 and then connecting to EY484 which has a scheduled 22:00 departure. All flights from Europe into AUH either arrive before 8am or after 7:25pm. Wasn't keen on a 16hrs layover.
If my two flights are booked on different PNRs (but both Etihad) would they compensate me if I missed the connection due to their flight being late? The MXP-AUH in Y and the AUH-BNE in J if that makes any difference..

I suspect that would be fine. 2.5 hours in Abu Dhabi should be ample time. Can you ask Etihad to link the two PNRs?

Hi Kaiser,

Thanks for reaching out on this forum! We've seen your question and would like to have a look at your booking for you to see if we can help. Would you send us your booking references in a DM, referring to this conversation? Let's see how we can help. 2.5hrs should be enough time to catch your connecting flight, but to be sure, we can double check for you. *JP

EY always book my luggage straight through. You will have plenty of time. I've done the same connection many times.
