Currently I am in Singapore and I received a text message from Qantas saying please call about my flight tomorrow.

On the text message it said call 1300 659 116, that number isn't much help when calling from overseas.

So I thought Qantas should have a local sales number that will automatically call to Australia.

I checked a previous thread but the 6415 7373 number is administration only, and just rings out.

The flight QF10 is delayed 10 hours.

Any idea where to find the Singapore sales number for Qantas.

I got the same message when I was in NYC; I just added a +61 to the front of the number. Tried calling the US number but they were less than helpful.

Is anyone from the SIN Do at/going to the airport ?
Get them to find the QF phone number and text it to you

May / does not apply to you but
from http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/deaf-or-hearing-impaired/global/en
(or +61 7 3815 7799 if calling from outside Australia) then ask for 13 13 13.
Speak and listen (speech-to-speech relay) users phone 1300 555 727 (or + 61 7 3815 8000 if calling from outside Australia) then ask for 13 13 13.

QF club number is +61 3 9658 5302

+65 6415 7366 is listed as a Frequent Flyer contact number for bookings etc. Give them a go.

Tried the 6589 7299 number but that didn't go anywhere, press 1 for this option, press 2 for that option, but that didn't go anywhere.

Ended up ringing Qantas on the +61 number, 1300 659 116 is bloody useless, have now had to use it twice and the call takes at least 5 minutes before you get anywhere, and they couldn't offer me anything

So I ask them what can you do, nothing we have no options, so why didn't they just tell me the flight has been delayed for 10 hours, if this doesn't suit please ring.

Might book Crowne Plaza at Singapore Airport, for about $330 just trying to decide what to do.

If you're going out to the crowne plaza, you could stop by at the check in counters or service at the airport to see if they can offer anything.

Sent from my HTC Legend using AustFreqFly

Changi CP is available on points which is $150usd worth....

I found the same thing; $135 phone bill for nothing, and they'll ring you later anyway.

Good luck!

+61 before the premium line number also works.

Can you not use Skype to call australia? Only 3c per minute...

Book hotel room using cash, not points. Much easier to claim back from QF / Travel insurance.
I'd also claim the cost of calling QF.
Keep receipts, also ensure if using a credit card insurance to use that card for expenses.

6415 7373 is the local number that puts you through to Qantas Australia. I just tried it and it works. Try it again.

I've always used 6415 7373 myself, and goes straight to Australia, 24/7. I've had flight changes made at 1am before as well. While that was somewhat recent, the "administration office only" part has been newly added to the website so I don't know if anything has changed. Either way, given the nature of the call, I would believe that they would either be able to transfer to the right department, or at least advise on the best phone number to use.

Seems like someone is being a little lysdexic. As +65 is country code for Singapore, I suspect Awesom Andy has it right.

While +65 is the country code, QF office seems to be in the 6415 exchange area, so +65 6415 xx_x numbers look right to me.
