Convert Altitude points to Qantas FF

We did not convert our Altitude points to Qantas a couple of years ago and now Altitude wants 200,000 points per person for a Perth to HK return trip on Qantas when Qantas normally 'charges' 60,000 return per person.

Is there any way I can get around this ?

You can convert altitude points to Cathay's Asia miles.
Asia miles requires 45K per person return Perth - Hong Kong. This would mean 90K each altitude points.
