The Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal has been established to help victims of the floods, and to assist with the relief effort we have set up a way for Members to lend their support by donating their Velocity Points.

Virgin Blue Group of Airlines has donated funds to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal and on-board collections are taking place on all Virgin Blue domestic flights until 25 January 2011. Virgin Blue is also providing ongoing assistance to support the rescue and recovery process by increasing flight capacity for people leaving flood affected areas.
