Hey guys,
What do you think about this hotel if any of you guys have stayed here?

www.cosmokowloon.com.hk

I can get a Executive Room for $1200 for 8 nights.

But the web site says

  • Complimentary Well-stocked Mini-bar
  • Daily Executive Breakfast (Cellini or Executive Lounge)
  • Unlimited Complimentary In-room Broadband
What does this mean?? We get this for free?

Complimentary does indeed generally mean for free.

Not stayed there myself, but from the reviews on TripAdvisor I’d be prepared for a small room ;) mostly positive other than that though.

May I ask where you are seeing that rate (ie website) and the dates you are searching?....That would equate to $18AUD a night!

At the moment with their 50% off promo on Club Rooms I'm still seeing pricing at around $200AUD a night.

I’m assuming the OP was using AUD not HKD.

I think I saw rates around ~$150 on HotelClub, so there’re probably a few sites offering the same, depends what dates are chosen too I’d imagine.

Agoda is spitting out Executive rooms for $179 with a 10% early bird rate...

I have stayed at this hotel before. Very small rooms but the rooms were clean and the hotel itself was fine. I picked it up through priceline.com (name your own price) for $120 back then.

I'm not going to stay in the hotel room all day, all I really need is a comfy bed to sleep. I like breaky included because I don't want to think about where I'm getting my breakfast from. The executive room I have got quoted $1200 for 8 nights. This includes Internet (mrs Facebook) and complementary drinks throughout the day also free mini bar.

Edit: offtopic, do we really have to boil water in hong kong?? I thought the water is fine??

I grew up in Hong Kong and all our tap water was always boiled, unless you have a filter of some sort I guess. Then again, water bottles are fairly cheap too ;)
