Couple of Qantas Cash questions

I've loaded up my Qantas card for up coming trip and have a couple of questions.
1. Do I need to advise my overseas use like a credit card ?
2. Any other tips or gotchas to look out for ?

Make sure you read the FAQs on the Qantas Cash web site thoroughly so you familiarise yourself with how the card works and its limitations.

Don't use it for hotel pre-authorisations.
If using the iPhone app, be very careful not to mistype your password as you can be locked out of the app after (I think 3) incorrect entries. To unlock the app requires a tediously long and phone-credit-draining call to qantas before you can speak to someone who can fix the problem. (By the way that person reassured me it was just the web and iPhone access that was locked - the card itself was still usable.)
