Hi there,

I’m looking to book Classic Reward Business tix to BLR later in year, currently very limited availability.

Does QF release seats still x amount of days in advance? Or drop seats randomly in batches? The seats I’ve managed to get are generally 3 weeks to 5 months out. In the past year, I have flown CDG, LHR, FCO, SGN, BLR, DPS ex. Syd or Per plus lots of domestic, all on CR, mostly BC. I’m currently Silver.

I’m now looking 8 months ahead, and there’s nothing. Should I be hopeful for random batches of seats appearing or am I being naive?

TIA, A

SYD-BLR is a route I’ve not been tracking in detail but it does seem to follow the pattern of a couple of SE Asian ports that have good J CR available but usually one month opens at a time. Feb 2026 is already open, so for this year, what you see now is probably all there is. Unless there’s some CR promo release (unlikely) but there could be some short fuse seats released closer to departure if you want to take that risk.

Thanks. I managed to pick some in July last year from Dec / Jan travel and there was a bunch to choose from. I’ll have to hope there is another release…
