Cracked SG For The First Time

A big thank you to AFF.... I'm very happy to see that SG has updated on my FF account today following a CX J run from TPE-MNL.

My transfer has also finally come through with work so I'm HKG bound in a couple of months, would be very glad to host any AFF visitors to the city in the future to enjoy all the good food and drink on offer.

The only sad side seems to be that I won't be around these boards as often but I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who contributes for giving me a great frequent flyer education and many laughs over the last 2 years.

Hope you enjoy your transfer to HK - we both love the city (organised chaos in so many ways) but find it a great place to travel to whether alone or with my partner or someone else: amazing how many people have been put onto my favourite tailor there in HK (Peter Lee of Lee Baron) ov er the past couple of years.

Definitely keep in touch - we're expecting to be back in HK on way back from Europe next month - catch up for a drink and some hole-in-the-wall Michelin yum cha, maybe!

Thanks all, HKG is a great city and I've definetely fallen in love having visited 8 times in the last 18 months. Have found some great little restaurants on both the island and Kowloon sides and of course always happy to shout a beer here............
