I've been trying to come up with some realistic means of getting me from DFW to the UK (and ideally LGW as I'll be flying out of there and it would save the one-way car hire fine). Pointy end redemptions direct ex DFW seem to have dried up for the window I'm checking. What I found so far is
DFW-LGA, JFK-LHR with a 9hr connection between NYC airports, and probs 2.5hrs to get to LGW from there.
DFW-YUL-CMN-LGW with 4hrs in YUL and 3 in CMN.
All business. Flights out oif Dallas are both AA, the JFK-LGW is BA. The Casablanca flights are Air Maroc. Their 787 for the transatlantic leg looks fine, but the 737 into LGW looks like it's going to be pretty ordinary.
Anyone been to any or all of these? What facilities are there for a WP QFF, and what would you choose?
Cheers.

There is a frequent direct coach service that takes less than an hour from LHR (Terminal 5) to LGW (North Terminal), or just slightly longer to/from other terminals.

Yes, best option, but still got to get out of the airport and wait for the cough to turn up, invariably 58 minutes later :-)

But anyone know more about YUL JFK or MNC and whether there are lounges available for wp?
