Credit rating

I'm aware that applying for credit cards affects your credit rating, however how often can you take advantage of applying for a new credit to get the bonus points without adversely affecting your credit rating ??

There's no precise answer. It depends on a lot of factors including income, assets, current liabilities and long term credit history.

I'm up to 9 applications in the past 12 months and haven't struck a problem yet. But I know it's coming.

Thanks so much for your response. I'm only at 2 last year and 2 this year so have a long way to go to catch you at 9 !!
