Whenever I am in KL I try to stay here, its a great hotel with frequent upgrades to club, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice big bedroom with small office area free broadband is part of the deal and the complimentary club breaky is comprehensive

Good value and well worth a visit IMO

only negative the bed is a bit hard

One of the few hotels I haven't stayed in in KL. Although been there quite a few times. I haven't heard many good things about it. My parents stayed there about 4 years ago. I had a look in their room and it was looking a bit tired. The staff held a protest out the front during on one day. The worst part was that late one night they gave a keycard for my parents room to some other guest. Luckily they had the room locked from the inside. Turns out the guy misremembered his room number and the front desk just gave him a keycard for the room he said without checking ID or his name. Very lax security and bit of a concern. Hope things have improved since then.

Although it provides a good short cut from Jalan Perak and Jalan Sultan Ismail - a good way to get up the hill via escalators in air con. Also Avis have their office there so handy if picking up a rental car. But personally I think there are better options in KL for the same price range.

I stayed here 3-4 years ago...it was an OK stay. I got upgraded to the club lounge floor. Lounge was not bad but not as good as Westin or Hilton KL.

The CP has now closed and is being demolished, leaving the IC and a HI as the only priority club options.
