SilverSea Website Internationally has been wide open for many hours today
Personal details, financial details, booking details, passports…. everything.
Just Log in to get a smorgasbord of interesting stuff.
Folks were desperately ringing execs and contacts to warn them with little success
Took them many hours to eventually close the website and a lot of info has been available.. not a good look,,,,

I received an unexpected phone call from a 'Silverseas" agent 'M' yesterday (wednesday) saying she was my new agent replacing agent 'K'. Could she help me with any bookings etc??
(I had a cancelled SS cruise early covid)
A bit scary now I have seen this.o_O

Edit - I just called the phone number back and it said "leave a message for 'M'" - but it's still very untimely

Edit 2: Monique just called me back - she is from Silverseas, - the same day bit was coincidental. She checked the story with her manager - apparently a website maintenance issue and blown up out of proportion. Whilst on the phone she deleted our passports and DOBs from SS records, and said no financial records as they don't keep them.
(I feel a little better now)

Of course.. they are heavily into the "nothing to see here" spin (disaster management process #1)
Fortunately only folks who were logged in got the smorgasbord and likely little damage was done.

And on the Silver Moon they blocked access to the my Silversea website virtually immediately. Which meant the passengers and crew on board may have been the only people not able to harvest interesting stuff. ;)
