Hi,

So i am starting to plan another snow trip back to Japan in 2013.. I was wanting to know if there are any good websites/templates that people use to put all their travel information in for each day? I have generally just created a simple word document. Although what i think is simple at the start ends up with lots of cross references and whatever throughout. I know that tripit allows you to create an itinerary, i haven't investigated this as yet. But thought i would ask if anyone on here has created their own template or the like that they use for each trip and would be happy to share it?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers gogo

I use the Tripit version that costs USD50 per year and it seems to work fine.

Agreed. TripIt is pretty much the king for doing this.

Not withstanding it will import any supported itinerary into your travel plan; adding stuff is relatively easy and you can use their app to carry it offline.

Further, you can use the provided iCal feed to load it up and display within any decent calendar application/platform for easier access, reminders, etc.

Can also confirm TripIt as the bomb. Although, I would venture that if you are not flying to the US/will have access to lounges and therefore wifi the $50 TripIt Pro isn't necessarily worth it. It sends you an SMS when you land at each destination about your connecting flights, but I find that gate/baggage information only tends to come through when at US airports.

Further endorsement for TripIt and, if you travel more than infrequently, the extra USD50 for TripIt pro is well worth it.
