Looking through MyBookings on the QF website the other day and I notice a potential CX booking for BKK-SIN-BKK appears on the list. The booking is for CX flights only and there is no link to my connecting QF flights which are on a totally separate booking.

My last CX booking in June does not appear on the QF website so the enhancement has been implemented since then. At least I can now keep a track of all bookings rather than having to look at CheckMyTrip for some bookings.

Interesting, CX flights do not normally show on C/M/T unless they are a connection to a BA/QF/LAN flight (or other carrier that uses Amadeus).

In April I have CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-QF- routing and only the -CX-QF- part shows up.

But if your booking agent is an Amadeus shop, wouldn't it normally turn up due to it's connection into Amadeus that way?

I know CX have been doing work towards a conversion to Amadeus, and certain tickets booked on the website do have Amadeus references (as well as their own), so it could be some back-end changes.

I have always been able to see the CX bookings BKK-SIN-BKK on CheckMyTrip. Usually I print the itinerary from CheckMyTrip and I don't bother with the e-ticket sent by the travel agent.

This is the same Thai travel agent I have been using for most of my bookings. Has she been able to fluke something this time around? At the moment it is only a dummy booking waiting for CX to release some I class inventory for October.

John,

What is the cost you pay for BKK-SIN-BKK in I on CX?

CX I class BKK-SIN return has been anywhere from 11,000-15,000 baht including 3.5% surcharge for paying by Amex. For comparison D class has been anywhere from 20,000-25,000 baht and J class ~34,000 baht.
