CX Cairns to Hong Kong

Who is likely to offer the best fares CNS to HKG return april out and may back? I noticed Cathay have just dropped their full economy rates in teh last day or so from full economy to a discounted fare.

Like it went from $6,600 to around $1,500 AUD.

I am a member of the Marco Polo Club (the basic) not that that count for much.

Anyway who is like to have the best price on an economy fares?

I can't see any Premium Econonmy on the CNS>HKG>CNS legs is that not a service CX offers? Economy is Ok as it a relatively short flight.

CX does not offer Y+ as part of their services.

Check websites such as zuji or expedia to see what options you have out of CNS. CX would be your only direct option, but have a look around to see what you can get and for what price.

If you want to go direct (and that is not everyday of the week) then you have not got much choice than to go with CX, maybe grab JQ to Tokyo and see what you can get from there, its $376 return!

only one airline flies direct between CNS and HKG and that is CX. So any other airline is going to involve a stopover somewhere. So what is more important to you, convenience or price?

Without using CX you can break up the flight by going CNS-SIN via DRW and then SIN-HKG with Jetstar but would involve a stopover on the way over. You can connect on the way back...

Comes down to $$'s saved vs time saved and do you want Asia Miles or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points ...
