Have the option of purchasing extra legroom on CX162 SYD-HKG for 100 beans. Has anyone tried this product? Some people online are complaining that the proximity to bassinets, toilets, galley, etc... negates any other benefits. What are AFF's thoughts?

Equate the 100 beans to something you like say a good bottle of whiskey? Then ask yourself?

I was hoping I might yield some information about the quality of the seat and how its position in the cabin stacks up before undertaking exactly that process as I have not flown with CX to HKG before.

If an A333 row 59 has 4 seats available for extra comfort. There's no galley, but there are 5 lavatories in front of you. You are also across from the bassinet position.

Is this an A330?

I travelled TPE-HKG the other day in premium economy bulkhead and the seat and legroom were quite OK. The service appears to be the same as economy and I could not work out if the IFE was any good as I could not find out how to use it and could not be bothered for such a short flight.

It is probably very similar to economy product. Do not expect it to be anything like Qantas premium economy or even BA old premium economy.

I'm not sure if the OP was asking about PE (has it ever been $100 more) or an exit row seat in Y.

Ha ha. After a bottle of whiskey I couldn't care what the leg room is because I would be unconscious!

You might even be able to put me in an overhead bin!!!
