What would people recommend? I'm QF Silver and seem to have access to rows 11-18.

I just flew in 15d ( think) last Monday (honkers to Taipai ) I like the centre row but I don't think you can go wrong, these are the best seats I have ever had on a comercial aircraft ( maybe with exception of the pilots jump seat on a 727). The only disclaimer I never tried the lie flat bed as the journey was over before I got a chance.

Alone I would go window - you get an aisle and a window seat. If you have an iPad/iPhone get yourself some AV cables to play your movies through the IFE.

What do you mean a window seat is an aisle and a window seat? Is it because of the diagonal configuration, so you don't have to walk over the next seat to get out?

may i ask were you on a SC run? Was it the new J class A330 as opposed to the old regional?

In the 1-2-1 arrangement you can have a window seat with direct access to the aisle - the best of both worlds. Great views out the window and no seat buddy to talk to, interact with , smell or have to climb over.
