Need input from the OW / QF / CX experts please.

Centurion gives me MP Diamond which gives me OW Emerald status - correct?

QF F Lounge in MEL I assume considerably superior to CX F in MEL - correct?

So if I am flying CX J and holding MP Diamond - does the OW Emerald status enable access to QF F Lounge in MEL rather than CX F Lounge in MEL?

Centurion gives me MP Diamond which gives me OW Emerald status - correct? - YES (almost certain on this)

QF F Lounge in MEL I assume considerably superior to CX F in MEL - correct? - YES in a massive way

So if I am flying CX J and holding MP Diamond - does the OW Emerald status enable access to QF F Lounge in MEL rather than CX F Lounge in MEL? - YES and any OW F lounge

From memory I think it is yes, was only in there for a short while and couldn't see a separate section. Qantas F lounge is the place to aim for without a doubt

CX only has a combined "Cathay Pacific First and Business class Lounge" in Melbourne that goes back to a few tears ago when they used to run three class aircraft (F/J/Y) into Oz. These days it's three classes but no F - J/W/Y only into all Australian ports. So if you want the best lounge experience in Melbourne as a OW Emerald, the QF F lounge is far and away your best option.

OK so just booked CX J MEL-HKG-NKG with AMs - 08:40 dep MEL - how long would you guys suggest to plan on spending in QF F Lounge prior to dep?

CX134 is 333 - best J seats IYHOs?

Well it opens at 4.30am and the first spa appointment is 7.30am so go from there. Of course it depends on how early CX let you check in.
