CX online check-in issue

Hi all,

Tried earlier this morning to online check-in for an upcoming flight on CX, the 'Check in now' button appeared at T-48 but when I go into the next screen it comes up with an error, anyone had this before?


  • We apologize that we are unable to locate any of your flights available for Check-In at the moment. This may happen if:

    1. Your flight does not depart within the next 48 hours; or,
    2. You have just purchased your ticket online, in which case, please wait approximately 30 minutes for your latest booking to get activated within our Online Check-In system. Please try again later.

Things to note, my flight does depart in less than 48 hours, and 2nd I purchased my ticket more than 2 months ago.
 
No, it's never happened before to me. You may want to call CX ASAP and check if you have been ticketed properly.

I agree with the call suggestion, eliminate problems before the day of the flight!

As I was calling CX it resolved itself! Still managed to get BN1 & 2 :)

I have had this problem - many times! Usually because once I click on the 'check-in now' button the default date is set to today's date - and I forget to change it to the date in +48 hours :)

I used the button under manage my booking so no chance of entering a date wrong. :) my guess is its front end is aligned with mel time (button appeared exactly at the t-48) though the back end only worked exactly 1 hour later (bne time which is 1 hour behind mel) coincidence?
 
I always need to log my eticket number as I travel as a QF guy. Annoying as I need to have a piece of paper with me.

Anyway easier ??

the CX PNR?

although for on-line check in you don't need anything - just name, date and flight number.
