I suspect that if [USER=71565]@PlaneCrazy[/USER] hadn't called VC probably would have cancelled their order. If you don't get the shipping notice from AusPost within 1-2 business days it's a good sign something fishy is going on.
Just like whenever I click and collect on a good deal in store I know if they haven't picked it within an hour I'm probably not getting my order.
Last month's $5 champagne is an exception to that: I ordered 12 bottles in the morning and after lunch still no sms so I called the store and the guy tells me they're out of stock. Ok fair enough I know they can't keep track of a simple thing like the number of bottles in their store reliably and it was a crazy price so what can you do. Then I get the regular sms the next day telling me my order is ready to collect. I call back to make sure it's not a mistake (that has happened to me before as well and I don't want to drive 50 min round trip to come home empty handed) and I swear I speak to the same guy who says "yeah we have it here come get it" so obviously bullshitted me on the phone the day before
