If Thursday and Saturday are both good I will choose Saturday.

I am staying in Cavenagh St this trip and would prefer somewhere where I can walk to - so a venue in the CBD or down on the waterfront near the wave pool - but after that I will have to go with the locals advice.

Hmmm. There's the Cav, but might be a bit rowdy if we want to talk and eat. There's Char (pricey), Ducks Nuts or anything at the waterfront (though neither Il Ido or Hot Tamale are very good it seems).

Im staying at the Cav and just finished a meal here as I type. There is a place behind the Cav - where the drive through exits onto a one way street - it may be ok?

There is a Greek place I have been meaning to try on the waterfront - I think it is next door to Hot Tomale but may have my Mexican joints mixed up... have you heard anything good or bad about it? No idea about their price.

I've never been, but have heard that Manoli's in teh CBD is far better for Greek food.

Ditto. My only other reccomendation would be the Hanuman Restaurant (about 7-10min walk from the Cav)

I haven't been to Manoli and would like to try it. I'm not a huge fan on Hanuman.

I'll throw one more option into the mix. My place for a BBQ. Only trouble is that it is not walking distance for Steady.
