Just a 1 night stop to get ready for flight to Chicago. As with most hotels in Anchorage this hotel had received mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. Unable to check in early but bags tagged & left in luggage room. It was a short walk to all the CBD. The street plan in the centre is named 1,2,3,4 etc in one direction and A,B,C,D etc in the other direction-makes it hard to get lost! Room available when we returned about 2.30pm. Asked for room away from main road & were given 222 which happens to be close to road at back! Soundproofing not brilliant but still able to sleep well. Room was big with 2 beds, fridge, microwave & free wifi. Hand basin was in corner of main room away from bathroom. Shower was very strong but heat of water fluctuated regularly. There was an in room safe that I was unable to master. We were informed the free shuttle from hotel to the airport often became overcrowded so we were ready early. Shuttle left on time with just us & 1 other passenger. Shuttle also runs to the railway.
