Decent SC runs out of JFK?

Hi all,

I am going to be in the states for a few days, and I have enough time to do a SC run, however I'll be based out of NYC and it would be good to find a decent sc run out of JFK.

Does anyone know of any decent runs?

Something in the range of $2 - $3 a SC

NYC is simply ... expensive ... for SC runs.

A useful tool in searching for flight options is http://www.farecompare.com/search/yupfares.html?departure=NYC

Plug in your starting city, then use the carrier filter on the results page to restrict to AA.

As serfty says, NYC is traditionally an expensive port to base a run from. I've been watching prices for the last year or so and they are generally quite expensive and not really worth the money.

Would be interesting to hear how el_rooto went.

I have been researching this a bit lately. Nothing that's super great value out of the NYC area. If you can get a cheap flight to TPA there's some nice runs from there.

I need to do a LAX-NYC return flight in March. EWR-DFW-LAX/SFO gets around $4/SC currently.
