Delayed Velocity Points Posting

Hi 777, long time no see! Yes, husband, daughter and I all got the credit card deal. Daughter is waiting on her points still, but we were informed this week that the process can take up to 4 months AFTER her qualifying purchases to $1500 appear on the statement. That means, we could be looking at another 3 months before points allocation. Husband and I have only just spent ours, so we won't see the points until late August, according to the T&C's on NAB website. Ho hum.

PS - you may be interested to know that I joined a chat on the NAB card thread and there was a lot of disgust at how slow people were receiving their 250,000 points for their home loan from NAB. One poor fellow was almost initiating legal action - not a very nice way to enter a banking relationship eh? He finally got the points, but it took a toll and the whole thing lost it's lustre after that.

It can take up to a week after your statement to post. If it's your first statement, it could potentially take up to a month for it to finally process in my experience.

No had the account a couple of years and have always posted within a day or 2 and its now its 7 days and still not there which I thought was odd.

I'd probably give them a ring honestly. That seems a little weird.

I know Velocity and NAB were having issues processing points for a while with the sign up bonuses and home loan bonus so they may still be having issues that are affecting regular payments possibly.

My last monthly statement posted as normal, within 4 days, problem was it double posted. I got email notification from Velocity that it had happened and that they were working on fixing it. That took another 10 days
