In he web of FF is Delta matched to Qantas\Virgin somewhere now?
If i get delta points can I transfer them to use in Australia?

Unless I do multiple rentals in the years to come hey?
Who knows they may combine with someone I can use them on?
It's free so I joined and see what happens....told Delta only FF that is Free to add to National car rental ;)

US FF programs generally have more car rental partners than Virgin or QF (who for some reason restrict their programs to three partners) so it's worth having a US carrier program membership for that reason alone. If you have joined Delta, you can credit all Virgin Australia flights there (domestic and international) and these count towards earning status on Delta (Earn Travel Miles with Partners). There are a few other ways to accumulate free miles in their program if you are based in Australia, including e-miles (Earn Travel Miles with Partners), Audience Rewards trivia (Earn Travel Miles with Partners), and an online shopping portal with Australian retailers (Earn Travel Miles with Partners - similar to the Virgin Australia shopping portal, lower miles than Virgin for some retailers but includes some retailers not on the Virgin site).

You'll hear people refer to Skymiles as Skypesos because of their 3 tier award chart which applies to DL operated flights, but not to Skyteam and other partner operated flights (where the lowest band applies). For a return trip to Europe in business, 150,000 DL miles plus about $100 in fees and taxes to fly on Korean Air is definitely more appealing to me than 256,000 plus $500+ in fees and taxes to do it on Qantas (or 342,000 if you have to redeem on Cathay or BA because there isn't any J availability on QF's own shrinking services to Europe).
