Since they are around the same price point and I am looking at going back to the US in September whom is better out of the 2 for business class?

I have flown Qantas on the A380 both in Business and First and was very impressed. I understand that both Delta and United are probably not in the same class but wanted AFF members opinions.

Have you looked at VAustralia?

They will be more like QF as I would imagine that Delta and United are much of a muchness.

I suspect Delta's planes will be newer.

This time round I am limited on budget so at $2-$3k morre for VAustralia is out. Therefore either Deltra or United.

If I go United I'd might see if there are paid upgrades to first available on check in, but there goes the budget again :)

But which of the 2 would people recommend since these deals have been on the market for a while and surely more people may have tried either one?

The thread I linked to has comments on the new UA product by people who have flown on UA to LAX/SFO, the Delta lie flat product is newer so it may be hard to get feedback as its very recent.
