DFW-PER options and why can't I book EK?

Hello folks. I managed to get myself to DFW and was coming back via London, but now need to get back to PER sooner, and have to forgo my Qsuites booking out of LHR


I can get to DXB from DFW. I can see flights from AMM on EK via DXB to PER, but the website just reports a fail when I try to search DXB-PER. Or DXB to anywhere in AU. I'd book DFW DXB AMM DXB PER, but I think I'm right in saying if I don't present for the AMM legs my DXB PER gets canx?


I've currently got a booking on FJ but it's a woeful set of connections, DFW TUL LAX NAN SYD PER, and frankly I don't see it working out.


If I have to sit in the back, I'll pay with money and take the QF8. But any thoughts on routes to score at least a PE would be well received. We're talking end of Oct.

Yes, if you miss the AMM flights the rest of the ticket will be cancelled.

I went to the emirates site just now and was able to make a booking, all the way to the payment screen, for a DXB-PER on 29 October. Prices at AUD2783 for the one way in economy. Is the error after this?

Booking via Emirates, or trying to book awards via the QF website? If its the latter, then there is a known issue that flights wont show from DXB.
