I know this a big YMMY situation but anyone know whether Hilton on the Park, Melbourne will extend Diamond benefits to the 2 rooms I booked next weekend?:p
Thanks

I usually book and pay for both rooms when traveling with family and have no problems, I do ask them to combine charges on one folio when checking out so points credit correctly

I booked 2 rooms before in Hilton Sydney & Brisbane. I booked the rooms under my name and always got all the diamond benefits for both.
At check in I was asked to give the other guest's details.
At check out I asked for both invoices to be under my name and never had a problem with that.

I'll add about +3.

It's something like 3 times I've done this, and all those times I've received the status benefits and at least some (maybe all......sorry memory is ordinary) of the times, I've received the same status upgrades.

I personally believe the same folio for the rooms is important (but hey, I have been wrong once or twice in my life ;)).

Reporting back...Diamond benefits were given for both rooms at HOTP booked over the AFL GF weekend:p

By 'folio', do you mean it is booked under the same membership number?

No, it needs to be on the same bill when you check out otherwise you're only entitled to points for one room.

Cheers

As Ewing stated above. I've found the booking normally divides into two room folios even when they are booked together as one booking. I just ask them at checkout to combine them onto one bill which seems to have the desired effect. I seem to recall it's a T&C thing as well.

Hitching onto this, does anyone know if it's possible to get 3 rooms on the one folio with Diamond benefits?
Not HOTP but I'm staying at Conrad New York over Xmas with Shrek, 4 kids plus mum and dad.
Shrek and I are both HH Diamond (him as a VFF comp and me BIB after VFF comp). Was thinking I will contact the hotel direct and if no joy go via Hilton Corp.

You can only get points for up to 2 rooms.
So I'd book the two most expensive under the main account, 1 under the the other account then have all the folios transferred to one of the main rooms prior to bill payment.

Thanks, I'll re-jig the bookings to do this.
Should ensure breakfast and internet for all rooms :)

Breakfast wise, you'll technically only be entitled to what you have booked, plus 4- (2 per member). Benefits (including upgrade and breakfast and lounge access) extending to the second room are common but not strictly a benefit by the HH rules. With 3 rooms and 2 diamonds they'll probably stretch for you but just a heads up.

Two rooms on a single booking at Hilton Sydney were both upgraded with one Diamond membership.
Breakfast in Glass was complimentary for all.

And after the thread bump.
Breakfast and Internet for all three rooms for duration of the stay at Conrad New York :)
