Just did OLCI for my flight from Mel to Syd tomorrow on a 767 in J class. Selected 1B (initially given seat 2B), and printed BP with seat 1B. Went back to QF website a bit later, and now note I'm back in 2B again:?: Did I just get bumped back to 2B by a CL or P1? (1B is now shown as occupied but not by me:shock:). Shall I just use my BP with seat 1B tomorrow and see what happens? or should I reprint a new BP with seat 2B?

*I know, 1st world problem:p

Use the 1B boarding pass, board early wearing thongs, jeans and have some scratches on your knuckles and I'm sure you'll get away with it no problem :p

Is 2B showing in the seat selection screen or olci screen. I've had a case where I did online check in and changed seats. But seat selection still had me in the pre change seat.

Yeah I have had a similar situation when I made a seat change after the original online check in. The BP was showing the new seat, while the website was still showing the old. The BP scanned ok at boarding and I sat in the seat on the BP no problem.

Just front with 1B and see what happens.

Will be interesting to see who ends up there.

Is 1B bassinet on the 763? ISTR it's 1JK not 1AB on the 763....

I think this may be the explanation...seat selection (and "Check my Trip") still has me in 2B, but when I do online checkin again, I'm in 1B:confused:...I think I'll stick with my 1B BP, wear thongs, jeans...but how do I scatch my knuckles without inflicting pain on myself in the process?

Get loaded in the J Lounge first. Feel no pain.

2B or not 2B: that is the question.

If OLCI still shows you in 1B then I'd say you'll be safe.

Makeup!
Google Trauma moulage and you'll be amazed what injuries you can sustain

After you do OLCI the seat selected during check in does not show on "seat selection" in your booking - only the last seat you had prior to OLCI.

If you want to check you're still in 1B you will need to go through "online checkin" again to see your seat.

Just got to QC at Mel (anyone here?); stuck my QF card into the self checkin machine to see what happens....BP with 1B spat out...so there you go! I'm here for the next 2 hours....can guest 2 into J lounge:)
