I just booked a ticket between MUMBAI-BRISBANE using my points over the phone (after several online attempts failing at the payments stage, yes they did wave 5000pts phone booking fee) with taxes $133.xx per person, which I would have paid $200 if had done it online (INR8000.00),
I dont understand why so much of difference?
Though the online booking was failing on the payment stage due to the reason "Could not confirm the availability or amount for the route you have selected"
Just thought would share the experience that saved me $70.
