So I got an email from EDR today offering me 16000 points to sign up to they're card, so it got me looking into options, and I can't see why anyone would want to pay 89 a year for a card with the same rewards as the qantas Amex discovery card, sure Amex isn't accepted everywhere, but I can't see that as a problem I'd pay 89 a year to avoid.
or am I missing something??

Well if you use Woolworths/Caltex fuel outlets you don’t have to go into the shop with that card, and still use your discount voucher. Could save you valuable time.
