DJ seem to have changed rather quickly for the better in recognition of it's frequent flyers.

On Monday was going from Syd to BNE at 6.00am. Straight to bag drop through priority and was asked if I prefered a window or an aisle seat, window was the answer. Given boarding pass and was allocated 2A, yes premium seats fitted. Had booked using 'Go' fare as I always do.

Arrived at BNE this afternoon 2 1/4 hours early and was automatically asked if I wanted to transfer to 5pm flight leaving in 15mins said no but 6.00pm would suit. No questions now on 6pm flight.

DJ keep it up.

Had a nice experience out of Brisbane on Monday also. I was travelling with someone but we were on seperate tickets so seated apart. Asked at the bag drop to be seated together but told the plane was full. Asked again at The Lounge and the lovely lounge attendant seemed very upset that we were seperated, saw the flight was full but picked up the phone and announced to someone "I have a gold member, Mr Danielribo who isn't seated next to his partner, it needs to be fixed".

A few key strokes later and we're up to 2A & 2B in premium economy.

It's good to see DJ are getting serious while QF seem to be dropping the ball more and more often (especially with these types of face to face customer service situations). The last time I asked in the QP to be seated next to someone I was told "well you should have booked together if you wanted to sit together" and sent on my way
