DJ/EY FFP Reciprocity

I was playing around in Sabre today, looking at some potential flights on EY for my trip to the UK next year, and I thought I'd add my Velocity number to the PNR to see if it made any difference to the seatmap display (ala QF WP etc).

It struck me as strange when I entered the FF entry, I got an error message saying there is not an agreement between DJ/EY and it would not accept the number.

Anyone know if this happens in GAL or Amadeus too? Can DJ FF numbers only be added manually by EY or Velocity?

Curious to know your experiences.

I've done a few trial bookings on the EY website and no issues adding my DJ FF number.

Perhaps the 'status recognition' you were looking for isn't electronic?
