DJ Gold status benefits at Syd Intl airport?

If I am flying DJ to New Zealand, am I now able to use AirNZ's lounge?

At this stage I do not believe so. I flew Pacific Blue to Queenstown last year and wasn’t able to access any lounges, I’m not sure if this has changed recently.

Per their website, lounge access does not appear to be available from Australia on Pacific Blue.

That is the plan, but it will not come into effect for a few months yet sorry.

Good to hear! If it’s up and running by the time I want to be in Queenstown skiing, I’d be eyeing Pacific Blue or Air New Zealand up equally with Qantas. However without lounge access, as bad as it sounds, I couldn’t face being in any airport by the gate again

Unless there are some very unseasonal snow falls you will be able to access NZ lounges for this year's skiing. And we will have a better combined schedule than QF+JQ

Good question that... I have to do a bit of travelling to China mid year and would love to know who it might be before i start booking.
