Hi All,
As a very frequent DJ flyer, i have noticed a change this week. Phones are allowed to be switched on and used until doors closed on departure, and phones on upon touchdown unless you are alighting using the rear door. First time i heard the announcement i thought i was hearing things, but i have been on three flights this week and its been the same on all three. Seems they have finally changed their policy.

Yeah they have. There was announcement about it via the DJ people on twitter. Only reference i've seen to it but experienced it flying MEL-BNE this morning.

Caught myself out though. Was sitting in 2D, switched phone on on landing and then realised we weren't going to an aerobridge. Fortunately no sparks when alighting.
