DJs Amex Bonus Points for Gift Cards?

If I purchase gift cards at the Supermarket do I still get the 3 points per $1 or 2.25QF point per $1 if purchasing Gift cards from them? Don't see anywhere on the DJs T&C were they are excluded?

can the gift cards be then liquidated for cash again somehow? or do you actually have to use them once you've bought them?

Thanks Deca. Just wanted to know if the DJs card was somehow different in its inclusions/exclusions I'll assume all Amex cards are the same.
