DJs AMEX Velocity Points Transfer Rate

Hi all,

i just switched my DJs AMEX from automatically sweeping to QFF each month to accumulating Membership Rewards which I plan to transfer to my Velocity account periodically. What should the correct rate of transfer be? The AMEX membership rewards website says 1 point = 1 velocity point however when I log into my account and look at the rewards section it is saying 2 DJs reward points = 1 velocity reward point.

Have they changed me onto the wrong rewards program or something? If so does anyone know exactly what I should request when I call them again to fix it?

I have the DJs Amex card as well. The transfer rate on DJs is 2 : 1.

The transfer rate is different to their normal Amex Cards which is 1 : 1.

A friend of mine got the Djs card last year and has just realised she didn't get the 22k bonus signup.
she has been talking to them for 2 weeks with no luck
anyone else had this problem
if so does anyone have a person to fix the problem?

I applied for the DJ card last week (40K bonus points) but when I read the review on Pointhacks at the weekend and saw that the conversion rate was 50% of the non-DJ's amex card I called up and cancelled!

Nowhere, but nowhere does it say this on the Amex site. Also the DJ card is excluded from the donate $150 get 5K points offer as well.

pointshacks also says that the transfer rate to SPG is apparently the same? That's a good way of converting to AA.

I've been using the card for over a year now and I think it's great. I wouldn't have cancelled the application. At least keep the bonus points, try and get the fee waived and then cancel. (churn)

This is why my head explodes when I'm trying to figure out which card to go for. Based on that then Amex -> SPG -> SG has the same outcome for both DJ MR and Amex MR's. Which is actually where I started from (hence the application), but I also really need Amex -> MH and that's 50%. SPG doesn't do MH - I've just discovered the MH $1600 + 1000 points one way J SYD - LHR redemptions

You can transfer Amex MR to MH.

I believe OP is saying they want AMEX MR 1:1 to MH? With DJ MR it's 1 MR: 0.5 MH.. and even though SPG ratio is same, No SPG to MH.

Sorry by OP I meant LittleFokker.

LittleFokker knows you can transfer AMEX to MH but wants a 1 MR to 1 MH ratio card (which the DJ is not).
