Do CX release their awards at a certain time of day

Hi - I was wondering whether CX release their awards at a certain time of day, especially when looking for the awards they release a few weeks before travel.

Just for interest - Cathay do not seem to be releasing seats two weeks out anymore. looked at every possible city out of Oz and then options out of Hong Kong for next two weeks and nothing released even though flights are half empty. There goes my hopes for an F or J seat!!

If you want to travel in the next two weeks I would be thinking LM. One way SQ 77W/388 J to HKG via SIN you are looking at around US$1k per person.

7 days and 3 days ahead is what I read on FT and that has been my experience for J ex Aus and F ex HKG. Very last minute. I had alternative less than ideal flights booked 6 months in advance and changed with only the few days to go.

Anna, it's hard to live on an edge! I thought two weeks too, but the best time for J is 6 days in advance now, and for F is mostly 2-3 days!!! There are plenty of flights from Australia per day, fingers cross you will be able to fly your "perfect" day still, I'm hoping for the same - last minute booking from Europe back home to Australia - living on the edge!... Although I noticed with this new "enhance" program, the last minute availability has changed for those cities. Fingers cross it won't affect you! Good luck!

Perhaps the upgrade bidding system is affecting this, but I thought PER was the only Australian port affected.

I was looking at Europe to HKG, but, yes, it is affected by the looks of it...
