Do I get FF points for flights booked a few days before I enlisted the FF program?

Hello all,

I just joined the Qantas FF program, but only 1 day after I booked a trip for somewhere in december.

So I booked the trip on the 23th of june and enlisted the FF program on the 24th of june.

My question is: Will I be able to receive FF points for this trip or was I one day too late?

I read the Qantas regulations, but it's not quite clear to me...

Yes most certainly.

Just call up your travel agent or the airline (depending who you booked it with) and ask then to input your FF number into the booking.

You can do it yourself online by going to "Manage your booking" on the QF website. You will need your 6 digit Amadeus Reservation Number...

As already commented, adding the FF number into a booking is easy to do.

For completeness sake (for anyone else searching or reading this thread) you can also claim flights that have been flown up to 30 days before you enrolled. It is possible that Qantas would consider crediting earlier flights if asked, but the T&C's do state 30 days.
