Mods great if you can make this a Sticky.
I put Aud$10 into a hotel vendo food dispenser, you can guess the result eh, boys and girls...
Yep, the thing sucked my note, and would not register, note would not cone back out.
Stupid thing went back to READY mode.
No food dispensed, no change, no $10 back.
No use exact change light lit either.

Surely this advice would be applicable to any vending machine? Did it have a limit on how much change it would give? E.g. a 'maximum $5 change' and you inserted $10 for a $3 product?

But what happened next? Did the hotel assist? Did the vending machine coy?

Ultimately did you get your money back?

Oh that would be so annoying.
And the time it would take to call the number & sort it out wouldn't be easy I imagine

Don't use vending machines.

Must try the ones in SIN next time where everything costs SGD1.
