do you earn points on reward bookings with VA?

I've made a booking using points + pay on VA to LAX and was just reading the fare rules and see:

Fare Rules Economy Reward
Velocity Points: Eligible for earning Velocity Points see Velocity Rewards - Home for further details

Am i correct in assuming my reward flight will earn me velocity points??

The simple answer is NO!

Not overtly clear but what it is saying "Look here to see if you get velocity points". When you look unless your reward ticket books into one of those classes you do not receive points or status credits. I have never seen what class a reward books into but I suspect it will be not be one displayed.

I know that you receive no points but you do get Status Credits

My booking class seems to be Economy-F - no F class in the points earning table for VA
