Do you earn points on your spend in the final statement when you cancel your card?

Just wondering if you earn points on your spend in the final statement when you cancel your card? I am planning to cancel my Woolworths QF card as my annual fee is due, but I got a few thousand spends on the card now and next statement date is past annual fee due date.

I'm sure you have already cancelled the card and found out, but for anyone else in this scenario in the future there are no points credited in the final month.

That's interesting and something to keep in mind for Woolworths Everyday Rewards Mastercard holders.
I cancelled an AMEX recently, and was credited all the points earned that month (but a month later than I would have expected it seems).

That was only my experience with the Everyday Rewards QFF card, our last month spend was minimal (around $300) but the statement clearly showed no points being credited. Didn't bother to call and investigate as I'm sure it was in the T's and C's.
