Hi guys!

Thanks to the helpful info on this site (and PointHacks), I bought points from Alaska Air and recently redeemed them for 2 x J class seats flying Brisbane to Hong Kong return for my partner and me.

Just wondering what documents I'm required to show at check-in in Brisbane? I have my "Confirmation Letter" from Alaska Air - but it looks to be just an itinerary with the CX booking reference number on it. Usually when I check-in, I give the agent a copy of the E-ticket - will this be required for partner award bookings?

I tried asking Alaska Air for a copy of this, but they just emailed me my E-ticket numbers.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

I forgot to mention, the reason I will be checking in at the airport (as opposed to online) is that I have luggage to be checked through to Taipei (I purchased HKG - TPE leg separately through CX).

Cheers

Thanks!

Feels like such a steal getting the tickets so cheaply compared to what I normally pay for CX J, so didn't want any raised eyebrows at the airport!

Nobody will know or care what you paid for it. Very few of us here can afford to pay retail prices for J and F travel but manage to travel this way on a very regular basis through offers such as the ones you have utilised.

Enjoy your trip on arguably the worlds best business class!
