Does a QF ticketed flight on EK count as one of the four flights required to maintain status? It would have a QF flight number.
Does it have to be on QF metal though?Makes no difference who tickets the flights, has to be a QF flight number.
For the purposes of the four sectors, it is just the flight number that matters.Does it have to be on QF metal though?

Flying Bangkok Airways, QF flight #, this will qualify as an eligible sector flown?
A minimum of four eligible flights must be taken with Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K, GK) flight numbers on your ticket
