Can any Amex cardholders test this out for me?

I'm interested in signing up for an Amex card, but curious to see if it works with the budgeting app YNAB.com.

If you've got an Amex card, it's free to test drive YNAB (no payment details required). Would you be able to test if your Australian Amex card is supported under their American Express transaction imports? I'd be forever grateful (maybe I can use your Amex referral code as thanks!)

My suspicion is that it *might* work, because Amex appears to use a global online banking platform, but I'd like to be sure.

I've had a quick look but couldn't find my American Express account type in the selection list which appears to be North American based. As I said, a quick look, and perhaps there's a way to change settings to our part of the world...or perhaps I'm missing the obvious. That happens.

@Brair1078, thanks for checking - if you select the "American Express Credit Card" entry, does that work with your AU login?

Log-in didn't work with "American Express Credit Card" or with "AE Platinum Card." The error message:
We're having trouble setting up this account. This error has already been reported to our development team, so there's nothing extra for you to do. Continue your budget journey in the meantime by setting up your account without direct import. You can then turn it on in a few days when we've resolved this issue.

Sad face. Well, I really really appreciate you taking the time to check. :)

Anz Money manager does the same thing as YNAB but its free.
If you dont like ANZ go with Yodlee who is the real provider of the service, there is no real difference otherwise.
